About the TABB.

The TA Bike Brigade is a subset of the Timbers Army that love their bikes almost as much as they love the Portland Timbers.  Established in the spring of 2009, they gather before every match for a pint or three and then ride through Portland to the game, singing and chanting along the way.  On match day, they're one of the most visible segments of the Timbers Army, rolling through downtown with scarves and flags flying.

Anyone is welcome to ride with the TABB.  We make a concerted effort to ride as a group – adjusting our pace to one that is easy on all of the riders.  Whatever your ride, speed, ability, or urban cycling comfort level, the TABB welcomes you!

TABikeBrigade.blogspot.com was begun as a way to centralize the information about the Bike Brigade so as to make it more accessible to anyone who wanted to join in.  Route information, photos from the rides, spoke cards and other bike/Timbers related art, and the latest in Timbers and Portland cycling news can all be found here.  As we grow towards MLS in 2011, we'll be adding more features and events.  Please pass any suggestions, comments, or criticism to us here.

Ride safe and we'll see you at the next match!
